Walso Solar – Empowering Farmers Through Solar Structures Under PM-KUSUM Yojana
Walso Solar is proud to be a key contributor to India’s renewable energy mission through our active involvement in the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan (PM-KUSUM) scheme. We specialize in providing high-quality, durable solar structures for Component-A and Component-B of the scheme, supporting clean energy adoption across India’s agricultural sector.
Our Role in PM-KUSUM
Component-A: Solar Power Plants on Fallow Land
Under this component, Walso Solar provides robust and cost-effective solar mounting structures for decentralized, grid-connected solar power plants ranging from 500 kW to 2 MW. These are typically installed on barren or unused land, allowing farmers and developers to generate and sell solar power to DISCOMs, ensuring a stable income stream for rural communities.
Our structures are:
- Designed for longevity and resistance to harsh climatic conditions
- Compatible with single-axis tracking and fixed-tilt systems
- Engineered for fast and easy installation, minimizing on-site labour and cost
Component-B: Standalone Solar-Powered Agricultural Pumps
We also deliver specialized mounting solutions for standalone solar pump systems, helping farmers in off-grid areas reduce their dependence on diesel-powered irrigation.
Key features of our Component-B solutions:
- Lightweight yet high-strength structures ideal for remote deployment
- Corrosion-resistant materials to ensure durability in extreme environments
- Customizable designs to suit various pump capacities and land topographies
